Although South Africa is very rich in mineral resources,  it is a home to some of the poorest people in the world.  Some of such people are communities living close to the mining operations.   We work for a review of the social and labour plan as the system through which the mining benefits are shared with mine affected communities and municipalities that are host areas and labour sending areas for the minies.  We also work for establishment of grievance handling mechanism in matters of benefit sharing and environmental damage.
